Ink Removal

An Ink removal method that will successfully leave you with your favorite article of clothing looking as beautiful as it did before the unsightly stain occurred is a much sought after process that numerous individuals find themselves wanting to learn every single day. One problem however that a lot of people run into is the fact that in some cases the stain ends up being fairly easy to remove on one article of clothing, then on another it seems as if it is totally impossible to remove. The reason for this is the fact that most all inks are made with using a variety of different substances, which means that it will take different methods of ink removal to work for that specific type of stain.

One product that seems to be growing more and more popular for working on ink removal is with the use of an aerosol can or pump bottle of hair spray. Not only does this product work great for various inks that cause stains on clothing and furniture, but it also works very well for being able to remove a variety of other common stains that are sometimes found on our clothing. This is a method that is very inexpensive, it is fast, and it is very easy to do. All you need to do is simply spread out the article of clothing on top of a clean towel that is white in color. Then you will need to spray the stained area very thoroughly, making sure to saturate it very well with the hair spray. Then, you simply take a white washcloth and gently blot the area, making sure to work from the outside area of the stain towards the center. Pressing against the article of clothing between the towel and washcloth like a sandwich will also help to make sure all excess liquid is completely absorbed. You may need to repeat each of these steps before you notice complete ink removal. Next, you will need to use water to rinse the area completely. After you have finished you can spray a cleaning aid such as Shout or Spray n’ Wash onto the previously stained area, then toss it in the washing machine to wash.

There are several other household products you may find very useful for this method as well, such as lemon juice, vinegar, isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol. The Internet can also be helpful for finding other successful remedies for ink removal.
